Amazon announced long ago that it plans to have more than 100,000 customized Rivian delivery trucks on the road by 2030. According to Amazon, this should save several tons of CO2 annually. Now, some of these delivery trucks are already being tested in some states.
These customized delivery trucks specific to Amazon are said to bring many innovations. For example, low-cost batteries, driving comfort and driver safety. The latter is emphasized very strongly by Amazon.
The workflow of the package distributors should not be inhibited with this truck, so that the delivery process can run without problems. The truck should also be built specifically for the parcel distributors to enable a safe working atmosphere.
