Apple's main manufacturing location, China, is currently experiencing major problems due to protests against the Chinese government's Zero Covid Policy. This has huge consequences for Apple, both in production and delivery.

The company had already moved the production of iPhones to India a few months earlier. Now Apple also wants to have iPads produced in India. This is intended to create a reliable supply chain. In the long term, Apple also wants to locate production in other countries, such as Vietnam, Malaysia and the USA.
