Apple today released the new MacBooks, which are actually introduced in March each year. The new M2 Pro and M2 Max chips are supposed to justify the price of $1,999 and up.

The M2 Pro chip is said to have 20% more transistors and twice as many as the M2 chip. This will allow work on Adobe Photoshop to be done faster. The new chip is "faster than ever before," Apple said.

The new MacBooks will be available starting January 24.
