After Apple's largest factory for iPhones in China has to close for a week, the company has found an alternative.

Apple's iPhone 14 range will now also be manufactured by Pegatron, a Taiwanese company. This comes after the news that Foxconn, another manufacturer of the iPhone 14 series, has to close their factory in Zhengzhou for 7 days.

According to a report by TrendForce, Apple is expected to sell 2-3 million fewer iPhone 14s in the next quarter, down from the 80 million it was expected to sell. The report went on to say that the Zhengzhou factory is running at about 70% capacity. Pegatron's new iPhones will be manufactured in India.
