Bing's chatbot can now create images

Microsoft today released an image generator for its own Bing chatbot.

Microsoft today adds an image generator for its Bing search engine. The generator is a more advanced version of OpenAI's Dall-E model, according to Microsoft. All users who have access to the new Bing can access the feature.

The feature was added in early March to allow Bing to respond in three different ways. The image generator is only available for the "balanced" mode for now and will be available for the other two modes later.

The image generator will be limited based on the images it can create. Last month, Microsoft made headlines with rude responses from the chatbot. There were also fears of misinformation, propaganda and harassment when creating images.
