FBI confirms North Korea's intervention in $100 million crypto theft

FBI confirms North Korean hacker groups were involved in $100 million crypto theft.

The FBI today confirmed the involvement of North Korean hacker groups Lazarus Group and APT38 in a theft of $100 million in cryptocurrencies.

The hackers used Horizon Bridge to get the money in 2022.

What is Horizon Bridge?

Horizon Bridge is used to move cryptocurrencies between multiple blockchains.

The FBI also confirmed that North Korean hacking groups laundered $60 million this month. The FBI continues to crack down on North Korean hackers who help fund North Korea's nuclear program.
