General Motors explores use of ChatGPT in vehicles

General Motors is working with Microsoft to integrate ChatGPT into their vehicles.

Microsoft and General Motors are working on a way to integrate ChatGPT into future vehicles. In the future, this feature may help determine information normally found in manuals, such as opening the garage door or looking at time schedules.


Microsoft announced an investment in OpenAI last year, which is worth $10 billion. With this partnership, Microsoft wants to put AI technology into as many products as possible.


GM and Microsoft partnered in 2021 to help commercialize autonomous vehicles.
