A report from Germany's Interior Ministry suggests that a certain supplier for components of the 5G network could be excluded if the corporation is controlled by another government or state.

Finance Minister Christian Lindner says in an interview with Welt TV that Germany must not become dependent on a single supplier.

Germany could soon make some telecom companies, such as Vodafone and Telekom, to remove components from China's Huawei from their 5G network. Compensation for this act is not in sight.
