First of all, it's not all Google, but rather a smaller part of it. Shopify does partner with Google, but this only affects YouTube. Creators can now integrate their Shopify store on their YouTube channel.
Creators can link their Shopify store to their YouTube channel, demenet talking products in the videos and livestreams, according to YouTube's CEO Susan Wojcicki.

Both sides can benefit from this: Shopify can generate more revenue as more people become aware of the products and Google gets a small commission with each product sold.
The question that remains to be answered: Will Premium Members be spared from this advertising?
Products that may be relevant for the viewer are to be listed in the 'Discover' tab on YouTube. This is being tested this year in the USA, Brazil and India.
