Google has been under pressure since OpenAI released the ChatGPT chatbot.

Google is testing a new chatbot that is supposed to compete against ChatGPT. Google employees are testing the chatbot, which is supposed to give answers with natural language, just like ChatGPT. The bot is to be called "Apprentice Bard".

Bard has a big advantage over ChatGPT. The chatbot from Google can give answers that are about a current event. ChatGPT can currently only provide information about events up to 2021.

Further information about the design or when the chatbot will be released is not yet known. The company is still working on a competitive chatbot.
