You wanted to assemble a PC but in the end it was not enough for a new, reasonably priced graphics card? We can tell you that this is hardly the case anymore. Because prices are dropping dramatically.

The prices of graphics cards have moved more and more in the direction of the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) in recent weeks. In some cases, a graphics card costs 1000 dollars less than it did in July 2021. On the one hand, the mining hype of cryptocurrencies is on the wane with the falling prices, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and others.
Likewise, import tariffs that hit the tech industry hard have expired. This means that manufacturers can set prices lower and can also supply warehouses with graphics cards faster.

However, the prices have not yet reached the MSRP level. Because an RTX 3070 is supposed to cost 499$, so the price is still 33% higher. This is not only the case for the RTX 3070, but for all NVIDIA/AMD graphics cards of the latest generation.
