Since cryptocurrencies have dropped massively in value, graphics card prices have also come down accordingly.

Since nearly all of the world's economies have been in recession by definition, many things have collapsed in the public trading markets. So has Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies.
Since cryptocurrencies are mined by graphics cards, some have made very good money by buying a bunch of graphics cards. Thus, the desirability of good graphics cards, such as the RTX 3090, soared. This resulted in high prices for gamers looking for a new graphics card.
Now the whole trauma is over for all gamers. The graphics cards are now sold at MSRP or a couple percent above. Below are the prices of some graphics cards:
GPU | Price Now | MSRP |
MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio | $1500 | $1500 |
MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Ventus 3X Plus LHR | $700 | $900 |
ASUS GeForce TUF RTX 3070 Ti Gaming | $599 | $700 |
In China, apparently the prices of the graphics cards had dropped by up to 37.5% below MSRP levels. A glorious sight for gamers.
