In August 2023, at Printables Clubs, we announced the launch of a new subscription model system to support your favorite creators and gain access to Club-exclusive models. Now, we proudly present the Printables Store—an innovative platform that consolidates all 3D printable models in one place.
The idea is simple yet effective: Printables becomes the central hub to discover models from various creators, whether they are free, subscription-based, or paid. This initiative aims to not only ease the lives of creators but also empower makers.
The Printables Store allows creators to monetize their advanced models directly on Printables without transforming the platform into a mere online marketplace. To ensure quality and diversity, some basic rules govern the Store.
Initially, each user has only one slot to upload paid models. As a model achieves sales, additional upload slots are unlocked, preventing spam and encouraging creators to care about their creations.
The minimum price per model is set at $5 to ensure that high-quality models are featured in the Store. This enables creators to turn their passion into a profession.
