Intel will soon release their first graphics cards and benchmarks have already been published. Now Intel goes one step further and buys a company that specifically focuses on graphics cards.
On May 3, Intel announced on Twitter that it was buying Siru.
Siru is a company that has been involved in graphics since 2011 and has a deep understanding of computer graphics, APIs and architectures.
Naturally, Siru will be an important part of the soon-to-be-launched Intel Arc graphics cards. Recently, benchmarks of the Arc A770 were revealed and as they showed, they were anything but good. Intel probably bought out the company accordingly to make the graphics card even better.

But why is Intel only now buying up Siru? Intel published its quarterly financials a week ago. However, in order to avoid a decline in the finances, Intel made this acquisition after its publication. However, it is still unclear for what amount of money.
