Intel also presented their products at January 4, 2022 CES. Lots of 12th generation processors, and a new generation Intel EVO.
Intel Core i9-12900KS
The most powerful processor the processor market has ever seen. 5.5 GHz maximum Turbo frequency on one core, over 5.2 GHz on all P cores. Gregory Bryant, Executive Vice President at Intel has also confirmed that this "enthusiast desktop part" is already shipping towards the end of this quarter.
Intel Core 12th Gen H-Series Mobile
Intel is also declaring war on AMD for mobile processors. This is because eight different H-processors are coming onto the market at once. With up to 14 cores, 5GHz clock speeds and up to 40% more performance compared to the 11th generation, Intel shows that they are once again a step ahead of AMD, proven with gameplay footage from the games Hitman, Riftbreaker, Mount & Blade and many more.
More than 20 new laptop models will be available in February.
12th Gen Intel Core P-Series Mobile
Gregory Bryant also immediately announces the 12th Gen Intel Core P-Series, which should have twice as much performance as the 11th Gen U-Series. This processor family is also to be installed in laptops from February.
Intel EVO 3rd generation
A smaller project from Intel is the EVO platform. This allows devices to be paired together and screens to be expanded, no matter what operating system you're on. At the show, it was presented how you can easily see your SMS messages from your smartphone to a laptop and reply directly. Also, a connection was created between the same laptop and an IPad, which fulfills the function of a 2nd screen.
