Mercedes-Benz and Google sign partnership for supercomputers in cars

Mercedes-Benz is partnering with Google to put a supercomputer in their cars.

Mercedes-Benz plans to have its own operating system for its cars by 2025, so the automaker is bringing Google on board to automatically reroute traffic information and routing in future cars. The computer will "deliver supercomputer performance," Mercedes-Benz said. How much the partnership is worth was not disclosed.

In the future cars, the driver should be able to watch YouTube videos when the car is parked or when the car is driving autonomously on Level 3. Porsche, Toyota and Lexus entered into a similar partnership in the last months.
