Microsoft announced today that the company will release a new version of Bing and Edge.

Microsoft held a surprise event today, unveiling the new version of Bing and Edge. The company claims that for 20 years, only half of all searches were answered. It wants that to change soon by making responses fluidly and quickly.

Microsoft is betting on the technology used to power ChatGPT. Microsoft was an early investor in OpenAI and is now deploying that technology with this partnership.

In a live demo, Microsoft showed a search. On the left, normal web links were displayed as usual. On the right, however, a short message about the search was written by OpenAI's AI.
