Microsoft's Activision deal also threatens to fail in the EU

The FTC has already opened a case against Microsoft, in which the deal with Activision is intended to fall through. The EU seems to be on the same path.

Microsoft's deal is facing headwind from the EU. The European Commission wants to block the deal. In the coming weeks, a statement of objections will be prepared for Microsoft, listing the EU's concerns.

Microsoft remains committed to the deal and is trying to cooperate with regulators. The mission for Microsoft is to bring as many video games as possible to as many people as possible.

The deal got green light in Brazil, Saudi Arabia and Serbia without any conditions.
