Last week, Microsoft unveiled a new version of Bing and Edge with an integration of OpenAI, which also runs ChatGPT. The browser is currently being tested by users who have been accepted by Microsoft for testing the browser.
Millions of users are still on the waiting list. Microsoft confirms that these users will have access to the new version of Bing in the coming weeks. Prioritized are customers who use Edge as their default browser and users who have the Bing app installed. That's why the app was at the top of the App Store for a short time last week.
Currently, the new Bing only works for the Edge browser. Microsoft will make the new search engine accessible to all browsers over time.
