Elon Musk said at the World Government Summit that he will seek a replacement for him as CEO of Twitter by the end of 2023. But first, he said, he must "stabilize" the company and put it in a financially healthy position. A product roadmap must also be developed first before he steps down from his CEO position.
After Musk steps down from his role as CEO, he will lead the software and server team.
Tesla investors are pleased with this news, as many shareholders were worried that Musk was focusing too tightly on Twitter and neglecting Tesla. Tesla currently has demand issues and increasing competition.
