Netflix plans to make all video games playable on all platforms in the future. Until now, Netflix's games could only be played on mobile as of now. The company plans to build its own cloud gaming platform in the long term, which is supposed to be similar to NVIDIA's "GeForce Now". In November 2021, Netflix released its own video games for the smartphone.
There are hurdles that Netflix still has to solve until then. For one, all games must be compatible with all devices. The experience for mobile users also needs to be improved, since you currently always have to download the games separately from the App Store or Play Store. However, this requires changes from Apple that restrict the cloud gaming apps less.
