NVIDIA has taken a lot of criticism after they announced the 4080 12GB. The performance does not match the name, many say on different forums. Now NVIDIA has announced the unlaunch of the 4080 12GB.
This is already being felt by the partners, who have already produced packaging, heatsinks and everything that carries the name "4080". They will also have to change the names on the software to "RTX 4070" (or whatever the GPU will be called then). This will be a huge loss for Asus, MSI and all other partners.
