There are again a lot of rumors about NVIDIA's RTX 4090. The graphics card is supposed to offer up to 2.75 gigahertz clock rates.

Kopite7kimi does it again. He leaks some important information on Twitter regarding the next NVIDIA graphics card generation. You can find all the information below:
GPU | VRAM | TDP | Bandwidth | Max. Clock Speed |
RTX 4090 | 24 GB | 450 Watts | 21 Gbps | 2750 MHz |
RTX 4080 | 16 GB | 420 Watts | 21 Gbps | - |
RTX 4070 | 10 GB* | 300 Watts | 18 Gbps | - |
*GDDR6 memory. The other graphics cards have GDDR6X
The RTX 4090 will be a monster, both in terms of performance and power consumption. The three-gigahertz range is also already very likely for NVIDIA, especially if the third-party suppliers of the card have a good cooling system and the power supply allows that as well.
But one should keep in mind that AMD graphics cards already have such frequencies. The RX 6950 XT manages up to 2.55 gigahertz (not overclocked) and the RX 6500 XT even manages 2.8 gigahertz.
On the other hand, it has to be said that the leaks look very promising. The RTX 4090 is supposed to deliver twice as much performance as the RTX 3090 and thus outperforms the competition by quite a bit.
