Snapchat releases a chatbot powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT. All Snapchat+ subscribers can use this chatbot. The subscription was announced in June 2022 and costs $3.99 per month.

In a press release, Snapchat warns that the chatbot can "say pretty much anything." Snapchat's intention for the chatbot is for it to suggest gift ideas, weekend plans or recipes.

Snapchat founder and CEO Evan Spiegel claims in an interview that instead of talking to your friends and family, users will talk to a chatbot every day.
