Tesla delivers more cars last quarter than ever before

Tesla broke a new record last quarter. Never before have more cars been delivered than last quarter.

Tesla delivered 422,875 cars this quarter, which is an increase from 405,279 cars from last quarter. Especially the deliveries of the models 3 and Y have increased. Deliveries of the models S and X have slumped by over 40%.

The slight increase can be explained by the fact that Tesla has reduced the prices of all models worldwide by up to 20%. This boosted demand again. But competitors, such as BYD, have now also adjusted the prices of their models.

It also remains to be seen whether Musk's 50% annual growth can be achieved this year, as the quarter-on-quarter increase this time was only 5%.
