Tesla today opened certain Superchargers in the USA to non-Teslas. Now, brands other than Tesla can also charge at the Superchargers. The company wants to boost charging options in the U.S., as President Biden's $7.5 billion plan calls for.

Non-Teslas will have one disadvantage. Charging will be more expensive compared to Teslas. The reason for the increase in price are fees that are added, such as car compatibility and also maintenance costs.

For $12.99 a month, non-Tesla owners can subscribe on the Tesla app. This subscription allows customers to get lower charging rates in the long run.
