Tesla will quit workers

Tesla boss Elon Musk has caused quite a stir in recent days. First he wants to get employees out of the home office, now he even wants to lay off workers.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Tesla will terminate all employees without hesitation if they are not present at a Tesla job for at least 40 hours a week.

Then on Thursday, news also came from Tesla executives that all open jobs and hiring will be paused. The Tesla CEO is also looking at laying off 10% of all employees with the reason that he has a very bad feeling about the economy - especially with the lockdown in Shanghai, where Tesla also owns and operates a factory. Tesla currently has just over 100,000 employees worldwide.
