The easiest hack there can be

AMD was apparently hacked by an extortion group and has "more than 450 gigabits of information" from AMD. Among them, passwords were also published.

The extortion group RansomHouse allegedly has more than 450 gigabits of information. Converted, this is 56 gigabytes. The hack was apparently very simple, as many passwords were called 'password'.

56 gigabytes of data is not very much, especially not for a large company like AMD. It is also still questionable whether all the information is real or not. This means that the hack attack is not officially confirmed. Also questionable is whether the allegedly stolen data is important or not.

According to Tom's Hardware, AMD is aware that RansomHouse could have data. An investigation is already underway.
