the collaborations continue: This week, the focus is on Intel and MediaTek. The chip manufacturer offers production opportunities for the Taiwanese company MediaTek.

MediaTek is one of the leading companies that deals with smart devices and 5G connectivity. It is therefore hardly surprising that a chip from MediaTek can be found in almost every device.

MediaTek and Intel are now entering into a collaboration together to secure a higher production volume. This also allows production to be diversified in Europe and also in the US.

Intel has also established the IFS (Intel Foundry Service) in 2021 to be able to meet the increasing demand for chips. This service provides a high-performance production line for third-party chips. MediaTek is the right customer for this service, according to Intel, since the Taiwanese company already powers two billion devices annually.
