Twitter lays off employees after Elon Musk takeover

Twitter will lay off 25% of all employees under its new owner, Chief Twit, the Washington Post reports.

After the multi-billionaire acquired Twitter, he has big dreams yet to come true. One of these dreams is apparently the cut of many jobs. Up to 25% of the entire company may be laid off.

The Washington Post further reports that Musk had a plan in the spring to cut 75% of all jobs, which would mean that only 2,000 people would still be working at Twitter. Whether that turns out to be worthwhile remains to be seen.
