A significant personnel change has taken place at Twitter as the Head of Trust and Safety, Ella Irwin, announced her departure from the company. She had been in this key position since June 2022 and was responsible for content moderation on the platform.

Her resignation comes amidst the challenges of attracting advertisers who are concerned about their ads appearing alongside inappropriate content.

Recently, Elon Musk appointed Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter, hoping to bring more structure to the company. Since Musk took over leadership, there have also been significant layoffs, including employees who worked in the Trust and Safety department.

This personnel change and the associated developments shed light on the current state of affairs at Twitter and the efforts to regain advertisers' trust while ensuring platform safety and quality.
